This week saw the announcement of the new OR Tambo School’s Board of Directors who will serve for a period of three years. This second board of the school comprises a mixture of old and new faces in an attempt to introduce new thinking whilst not losing out on institutional memory.
 
Emboldened by a successful tenure of its predecessor, the Board of Directors engaged in a strategic planning workshop which conducted an environmental scan, assessed the standing of the school and defined priority areas. 

Appreciative of the school’s role in ANC organizational renewal as well as societal transformation through support for cadres committed to change the world for the better, the board focused itself on how offerings of the school could be further amplified and embedded in society and across the mass democratic movement.
