The Gauteng Education MEC, Mr. Panyaza Lesufi is saddened by the untimely death of Mr Moses Kadiege (56), the principal of H.L. Setlalentoa Secondary School in Ga-Rankuwa, Pretoria, who was found dead on Sunday, 25 September 2022.

 

Information at our disposal states that the principal allegedly left his house in Brits in the morning on Saturday, 24 September 2022, to visit his friends. 

Unfortunately, he never came back home, and his body was found abandoned in Winterveldt on Sunday. 

 

Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

Our Psychosocial Unit will be deployed to the school to extend trauma support and counselling to those who may be affected by this incident.

“We are disheartened by the untimely death of our revered principal, and we wish to convey our sincerest condolences to the school community and his beloved family,” said MEC Lesufi.

 

MEC Lesufi will visit H.L. Setlalentoa Secondary School and the family of the principal on Monday, 26 September 2022.
