Suspended MKMVA spokesperson Carl Niehaus is scheduled to appear at the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands on Wednesday. Niehus has publicly shown his greatest support to President Jacob Zuma.

He was arrested while conducting a live press conference last month and was later released on bail. He has been accused of infringing level 4 lockdown regulations by scheduling a  gathering of approximately 100 people in July. More so  Niehaus was also suspended from the African National Congress (ANC)  for the statements he made at Zuma's Nkandla homestead a few days before the4 former president was arrested.
