Zimbabwean side Chicken Inn have confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs have fulfilled their obligations in the transfer of Teenage Hadebe.

The news means that Chiefs will not be serving any bans from FIFA for now, according to a FIFA ruling Chiefs would have been banned from participating in the transfer market for three consecutive windows had they not fulfilled their obligations to Chicken Inn.

Chicken Inn secretary-general Tavenga Hara stated that indeed the club was fully paid the money that was due to them by Chiefs.

"I can confirm that Kaizer Chiefs have fulfilled their side of the bargain the delays were by the Turkey club, we paid each other through FIFA so the matter is resolved," said Hara.

In 2019 Hadebe left Chiefs to join Malatyaspor ending his two-year spell with Amakhosi having joined from Chicken Inn in 2017.

But there had been contrasting reports on his transfer to Turkey, some said he moved as a free agent while others said Chiefs sold him.

Amakhosi had also initially released a statement earlier on the week dismissing reports that were making rounds relating to the transfer of Teenage Hadebe.

"Initially, indications are that Hadebe joined the Turkey club as a free agent, however it was unearthed that the Arthur Zwane coached-side indeed sold him, albeit for an undisclosed fee," the statement read.

"The club would like to categorically dismiss the reports as flawed and misleading,"

If the matter had not been solved it would have been the second time Chiefs get banned by FIFA after being handed a two year window transfer ban in 2020 after falling to remunerate Fosa Juniors FC for the transfer of Arohasina Andrianarimanana to the club.
