In just a month after signing for Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo was announced as the Saudi Pro League player of the month for February.

Ronaldo who joined Al-Nassr at the start of January, had an incredible start to the season as he scored 8 goals and provided two assists in the four matches he has played for Al-Nassr.

The Portuguese star joined the Saudi side after rather a bad departure at Manchester United in December following his interview with Piers Morgan just before the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.

Despite the fallout at United, Ronaldo started his Al-Nassr journey with on a very positive note scoring a last-gasp penalty to save his side's blushes despite Al-Nassr having gone down to 10 men.

Ronaldo then showed his dominance in front of goal as he scored all four of Al-Nassr's goals in their 4-0 victory over Al-Wehda on the 9th of February.

The 38 year old then continued to hit his stride for the Saudi side providing two assists against fellow title challengers Al-Taawoun in a narrow 2-1 victory.

With the Portuguese star known for being a goal scoring machine throughout his footballing career, Ronaldo scored a hat-trick during Al-Nassr's most recent victory defeating Damac FC 3-0 to maintain their spot at the summit of the Saudi Pro league.

The player of the month award for Ronaldo comes a day just after his closest rival Lionel Messi won the Best FIFA men's player of the year award in France to go level with Ronaldo on two FIFA men's player of the year accolades.
