It is still locked at Halftime in Versfeld

By Neo Poho

At a very hot Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria with temperatures skyrocketing at 33 °C, Mamelodi Sundowns and Sekhukhune United are still locked at 0-0 in their DSTV Premiership match at halftime.

Sundowns have ran in the changes as some of the regulars like Themba Zwane and Grant Kekana are out due to suspension.

First choice goalkeeper Ronwen Williams has been rested again and this is his second consecutive match not being available in the matchday squad while Cassius Mailula has started on the bench with Marcelo Allende.

Meanwhile Sekhukhune United have kept majority of their previous starting XI to battle Sundowns.

The Brazillians dominated the first half with over 60% of ball possession and more chances created but are lacking composure in front of goal much to the disappointment of the fans at the stands.

Although Sundowns have not found the back of the net, Sipho Mbule and Neo Maema are the most influential players so far in the encounter.

On the opposite end of things Sekhukhune United have also had chances of their own but the decision making in the final third has been poor.

More action to follow in the second half.
