Baloni has signed a three year contract that will see him in the black and white colours of Orlando Pirates until the 2026/27 season.

Having joined All Stars FC in the beginning of the 2022/23 Motsepe Foundation Championship league, Baloni was one of the best midfielders in the league making 25 appearances and scoring three goals in the process.

With the CAF Champions League being on Pirates' schedule from next season, the Buccaneers have also acquired the services of TS Galaxy goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi to boost their squad ahead of the new season.

Both Baloni and Buthelezi are expected to join the rest of the squad when the Sea Robbers assemble for pre-season.

Having won two domestic titles in the just ended DStv Premiership campaign and also finishing the league on the second spot, Pirates will look to continue with their fine form in the new season that will also include the Carling Knockout Cup.
