The ANC in the North West Province sent five of its members  including the Premier of the North West Province Job Mokgloro for disciplinary hearing.  This comes after the five voted in favour of the Democratic Alliance during the elections of the Chair of Chairs in the legislature. 

 The ANC has voiced that it views these actions as acts of difiance.

Speaking to ENCA The Premier of North West Mokgoro has disregarded his 
suspension calling the claims bluff.

"unfortunately, the suspension I know of is only through the media, I have not received any communication, nobody from the IPC has spoken to me about my so-called suspension," he said.
