Joburg Post is excited to debut its first-ever “Top Fashion Moments of The Week”  series, highlighting the most stylish looks from celebrities and influential people in the country.

From custom-made gowns to bold black and white looks, South African public figures have been slaying the fashion game, and we’re here to celebrate them.

First on our list is the talented actress and fashion designer, Nandi Madida. Nandi wowed us with her stunning custom-made Keys Fashion gown at the GRAMMYs 23. 

The bold and intricate design featured perfect gold detailing, Nandi’s outfit was a true statement of African elegance and sophistication.

Next up is Bontle (Moloi) Modiselle, a TV presenter, dancer, and choreographer, who stunned us with her bold black-and-white look at the 23rd Annual NBA  Legends Brunch. 

Bontle’s outfit was a perfect blend of elegance and edge, featuring a black and white top and skirt set, accessorised with a black hat and black boots.

Nomuzi Mabena, the fierce and bold rapper and TV personality, always brings her A-game when it comes to style. 

At this year’s Cotton Fest, she rocked a cool  ‘High-school Head girl’ look, featuring a white shirt, black tie, and plaid skirt, Cotton Fest cardigan accessorised with white socks, and black boots.

 Nomuzi’s outfit was a fresh take on the classic school uniform, and she pulled it off with ease.

Luthando Shosha, popularly known as Loot Love, is an award-winning TV & Radio personality and a style icon. 

Loot Love is a helpless sneaker-head, but at the SA Style Awards, she wore a stunning red dress by Otsile Sefolo (Otiz Seflo). 

Her ability to switch between feminine and masculine styles with so much ease is exactly why she’s a style icon.

 

Last but not least, Sarah Langa, a luxury lifestyle, and fashion influencer who never misses a beat when it comes to style, wore a stunning red compressed dress from the RICH MNISI, Mafamba Yexe collection for Valentine’s Day. 

The dress hugged her curves in all the right places and featured a knee-high slit on both sides. Sarah’s outfit was a perfect blend of sensuality and elegance. 

These South African public figures have been setting the fashion bar high, and we can’t wait to see what other stylish looks they have in store for us.
