In a remarkable initiative, reigning Miss South Africa, Ndavi Nokeri, has joined forces with the educational institute Richfield to launch the Ed-Unite partnership, a beacon of hope for equal education. 

The R1.3 million collaboration aims to uplift and empower South African youth by offering 10 full academic bursaries, along with laptops and learning resources, to deserving learners nationwide.

Ndavi Nokeri's advocacy campaign, Ed-Unite, was born out of her dedication to bridging the education gap and ensuring equal opportunities for all, irrespective of colour or economic status. 

Beyond addressing school infrastructure, scholarships, and menstrual hygiene support, her mission extends to providing comprehensive access to quality education.

The Ed-Unite Richfield competition offers learners aged 18 and above the chance to win full-time or distance learning bursaries for pursuing undergraduate qualifications. Notably, each winner will receive a laptop equipped with essential software and data access to facilitate their learning journey.

This groundbreaking partnership, unveiled during Youth Month, sheds light on the ongoing struggle for equal opportunities for young people. Ndavi Nokeri, alongside Adam Kelly, Richfield Group Chief Commercial Officer, and Shireen Chengadu, Richfield Group Chief Academic Officer, engaged in an insightful discussion during the launch, underscoring the importance of this initiative.

As a testament to her own struggles, Ndavi Nokeri's personal journey resonates with countless students. Her commitment to inspiring young minds has led her to engage with Richfield's Maths and Science classes, empowering matric students to excel in STEM subjects and prepare for tertiary education.
