Cricket South Africa has confirmed on Monday the 15 nationally contracted Proteas women players ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The third weekend of March saw the two Soweto giants keep within touching distance of the CAF Champions League spot while Barcelona claimed El-Clasico bragging rights and Fernando Alonso claimed his 100th podium of his Formula 1 career in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
This weekend the DSTV Premiership continues with some exciting encounters as the two Soweto giants take on SuperSport United and Maritzburg United respectively while Barcelona welcome Real Madrid in the El Clasico and the Proteas continue their battle with West Indies.
Kaizer Chiefs will be without in-form defender Siyabonga Ngezana for their clash against Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday evening.
After losing the second ODI to West Indies on Saturday by 48 runs, the Proteas will look to bounce back and restore parity in the third and final ODI at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom on Tuesday.
Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has challenged Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates to step up their game and bridge the gap between them and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Chelsea and Manchester City are on a Champions League collision course but both must get past tough quarter-final ties if they are to meet in the semi-final.
