Thesis Lifestyle, a powerhouse that encompasses retail, events management, clothing, and social outreach, stands firmly by its belief in the power of defining oneself and collaborating with others. 

As we celebrate Youth Month, it is only fitting to honour this brand's dedication to street culture and its undeniable impact on the community.

Initiated through an Instagram DM conversation, this film emerged from the shared desire to tell our own stories and sit at the forefront of authentic conversations within street culture.

A Tale of Hurdles and Triumphs

Misunderstood Authentics intertwines the narratives of Thesis Lifestyle and Street Fighter Crew, a BMX "STANCE" cycling crew from Sgodi'phola (Mofolo North). Wandile Zondo and Galebowe Mahlatsi, the voices behind Thesis Lifestyle, courageously narrate the building hurdles they have faced.

Their journey embodies the spirit of being misunderstood authentics – pioneers who recognize that their endeavors are not widely known but relentlessly strive to become authorities in their respective fields.

The Power of Culture Exploration

The film delves into the diverse culture fields of clothing and BMX stance culture, bridging the gap between two brands operating at different stages of their journeys. 

It serves as a conversation between Thesis Lifestyle, an established entity, and Street Fighter Crew, a rising force. Together, they explore the intricate tapestry of culture as they see it, unraveling its depths and shedding light on the lesser-known aspects of BMX STANCE culture.
