Amakhosi and Molefi Ntseki part ways

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed head coach Molefi Ntseki has parted ways via mutual consent after their Carling Knockout Cup exit.

Upon Ntseki's departure at Amakhosi, the club released a statement confirming that given the recent run of disappointing results, the parties agreed that this was the best course of action under the prevailing circumstances.

“Following a meeting on Monday morning, Molefi Ntseki’s tenure as head coach of Kaizer Chiefs has ended amicably by mutual consent, given the recent run of disappointing results, the parties agreed that this was the best course of action under the prevailing circumstances.

Cavin Johnson, who recently joined Chiefs as Head of the Youth Development Academy, will take over as the First Team coach on an interim basis," the statement read.

The 54-year-old who was appointed in the role after his stint as head of technical and development lasted 12 games, with four wins, three draws and five defeats.
