Mmodi's contract with Golden Arrows was set to expire at the end of June 2023 having joined the side from Uthongathi at the beginning of the 2020/21 season.

While Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu have also shown interest in Mmodi's services, the winger has decided to sign a three-year contract with the Glamour Boys ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Becoming only the fifth signing for Amakhosi as they prepare for the new season, Mmodi will be hoping to become an influential addition to the club and inspire the team to their glory days again.

The Free State born made 31 appearances for Arrows in all competitions during the 2022/23 season while scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process.
