Amakhosi players back at Naturena for Pre-Season

After a disappointing 2022/23 DStv Premiership campaign, Kaizer Chiefs players have reported back to their training base at Naturena to start with their pre-season preparations.

Chiefs finished fifth on the log last season with 44 points after 30 matches and reached the semi-finals of the MTN 8 and the Nedbank Cup.

Although reports suggest that Amakhosi may consider attaining the signature of Tunisian tactician Nasreddine Nabi to replace Arthur Zwane as the head coach, Amakhosi former players have backed Zwane to continue coaching the Glamour Boys.

Mandla Masango and Thabo Mooki are just a few of the former players that called for patience in the Chiefs camp, citing that Zwane needs more time to bring back the glory days at Naturena.

With the new season on the horizon, Chiefs have already signed defender Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United, TS Galaxy's Given Msimango and Cape Town City's Mduduzi Mdantsane.

While Siyabonga Ngezana and Eric Mathoho have already left the club, Amakhosi are expected to make more signings in a bid to boost their squad ahead of the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season.
