Cole Alexander leaves Kaizer Chiefs

By Neo Poho

After announcing the appointment of Molefi Ntseki as the club's latest head coach, Kaizer Chiefs have reached an agreement to terminate the contract of midfielder Cole Alexander by mutual consent.

Alexander joined Kaizer Chiefs in July 2021 with then head coach Stuart Baxter after their successful stints in India with Odisha FC.

Alexander joins Phathutshedzo Nange and Siyabonga Ngezana as another player to leave the Glamour Boys ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 season.

Having featured for Chiefs 21 times in his first season, Alexander struggled to find his form in the past season making only seven appearances under the guidance of the then head coach Arthur Zwane.

The Ajax Cape Town Academy product will leave Chiefs as a free agent after he agreed to the offered settlement and signed it officially this week.
