Kaizer Chiefs' latest signing Given Msimango has expressed his excitement at joining the Soweto giants while also citing that he can't wait to help Amakhosi rise again.

Msimango was among the six players Chiefs unveiled on Monday the 3rd of July 2023 including Ranga Chivaviro, Thatayaone Dithlokwe, Pule Mmodi, Edson Castillo, and Mduduzi Mdantsane, who have joined the Glamour Boys ahead of the new season.

Joining Amakhosi from TS Galaxy on a long-term contract, that will see him in the black and gold colours of Kaizer Chiefs until 2027, the 24-year-old brings promising talent and strong leadership skills to the Naturena side especially within the defenders department.

"I am thrilled to announce my official arrival at my dream team and I am very excited to contribute my skills and passion to this incredible group of players, I am really hoping that we can create history together," Msimango said.

Msimango's arrival along with Ditlhokwe also means Amakhosi have now managed to close the gap of their two central defenders (Eric Mathoho & Siyabonga Ngezana) who have left the club last month.

The former TS Galaxy captain will wear the number 25 jersey that was previously worn by Bernard Parker during his tenure at Amakhosi.
