"I am just disappointed" - Former Pule Mmodi's agent

Former Pule Mmodi's agent Solomon Seobe has revealed that he was surprised when he found out that Mmodi has signed for Kaizer Chiefs.

Seobe who represented Mmodi until the expiry of their contract said Mmodi signed with Chiefs without his knowledge.

With Mmodi's contract with Golden Arrows set to expire on Friday the 30th of June 2023, the winger was free to join any club of his choice as a free agent.

"He has signed with Kaizer Chiefs on his own, He phoned me and said that he had signed with the club.

“He did everything all by himself and currently he is already at Chiefs training with the team for pre-season," Seobe said.

Despite Mmodi joining the Glamour Boys, Seobe is a bit disappointed at how the midfielder went about his affairs of signing for Amakhosi.

"I just thought I was going to be involved in his decision because there are things that one has to look closely at in a contract but it wasn't to be.

Nonetheless there is no bad blood between the two of us, I just need to confirm if he signed with Kaizer Chiefs before or after our contract had expired or not," Seobe added.

Becoming only the fifth signing for Amakhosi as they prepare for the new season, Mmodi will be hoping to become an influential addition to the club and inspire the team to their glory days again.
