As Amakhosi prepare for their 2023/24 DStv Premiership season opener against Chippa United, head coach Molefi Ntseki is concerned about the injuries of several players including Keagan Dolly and Ashley Du Preez.

Addressing the media ahead of the encounter against Chippa United, Ntseki revealed that players like Dillan Solomons, Ranga Chivaviro, Keagan Dolly and Ashley Du Preez might miss out on the clash due to injury.

"We have a few of them that have been out because of injuries, like the likes of Dillan Solomons, George Matlou has also been out, Keagan Dolly has been out, Ranga Chivaviro has been out and Ashley Du Preez has been out for some time too.

We are working 24/7 on the mental and tactical side of it, but the most important thing is the medical team is doing a very good job, so we will get a medical report before the end of the week and see who will be available," Ntseki said.

On the contrast, the Glamour Boys will be glad to have new signings Given Msimango, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, and Edson Castillo fit and ready for the Chippa United encounter.

Pule Mmodi will also be looking forward to his DStv Premiership debut in the black and gold colours of Amakhosi while Congolese forward Christian Saile, is also hoping to pick up where he left off last season and help the side claim their first victory in the new season.

The encounter will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium with kick-off being at 15:00 in the afternoon on Sunday the 6th of August 2023.
