Kaizer Chiefs Chairman pleased with Amakhosi's latest signing

Kaizer Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung has expressed his delight in Amakhosi's latest signing Efmamjjasond Gonzalez, explaining that the Colombian is someone that will hit the ground running.
Gonzalez was unveiled by Chiefs on Wednesday the 23rd of August 2023 after agreeing a season long loan with an option to make the deal permanent.
Upon his arrival at Naturena, Motaung and Amakhosi's head coach Molefi Ntseki gave Gonzalez a warm reception as he is expected to be in action soon.
"We wish to welcome Jasond Gonzalez to South Africa and also to wish him everything of the best, we know that he is a soldier because he hits the ground running, as he comes now he has no time to waste because he has to be ready to use his weapons straight away.
We want to make him feel comfortable here and one thing I guarantee is that he will be happy here, it's a big family and he will see as time goes on how big this family is," Motaung said.
Meanwhile, the 24-year old also had Motaung to thank for bringing him to the Glamour Boys.
“I am thankful for the opportunity I have been given, it is indeed a dream for me to be in Africa, for me it is the centre of everything, I am happy to be here and very happy with what I have seen so far, I just can’t wait to start," Gonzalez added.
Chiefs are back in action on Saturday the 26th of August 2023 against AmaZulu at the FNB Stadium.
