Mandla Masango also joins in to back Arthur Zwane

Not only is Thabo Mooki calling for patience at Kaizer Chiefs under the guidance of Arthur Zwane but former Amakhosi star Mandla Masango has also reiterated that the Glamour Boys will reclaim their glory days.

This follows Kaizer Chiefs' faithful showing their dissatisfaction towards Zwane being the head coach of the club after another season has went by without a single silverware.

Expressing his sentiments on the current state the club is in and the direction Zwane is taking to improve Amakhosi at large, Masango insists there was progress in the team last season.

“I think there is a lot of improvement compared to other seasons, slowly but surely they are integrating the new guys so with time everything will be back to normal.

It’s just a matter of time because most of the guys that are now part of the senior team were playing for the development side, so a step up to the senior team comes with a lot of pressure and responsibilities but they will eventually get it right," Masango said.

The 33-year-old that spent six seasons at Chiefs from 2009 to 2015 further alluded that Zwane will eventually bring in the desired results that will turn the team's fortunes around.

"I am positive things will get better at Chiefs, what we should just do is support the guys because that is what they need at the moment.

Even in a family when you are young, you are allowed to make mistakes and they give you a chance to grow up to a place you want to be in," Masango added.

The Glamour Boys have already started with their preparations for next season after acquiring the services of Mduduzi Mdantsane and Given Msimango from Cape Town City and TS Galaxy respectively.
