Amid speculations that Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana was edging closer for an exit at Chiefs after an interest from Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca, Amakhosi head coach Molefi Ntseki has confirmed that the Burundian international will stay at the club ahead of the new campaign.

Bimenyimana joined Amakhosi last season and only managed to score eight goals in his 21 appearances in all competitions and provided a single assist in the process.

Having being part of the club’s new kit launch on Tuesday the 25th of July 2023 together with the rest of the team, Ntseki confirmed that the goal poacher will remain with the Glamour Boys.

"Caleb Bimenyimana is with us now, we were just training today and he is with us, we are wishing him all the best of luck as a Kaizer Chiefs player and hopefully he will turn things around this season," Ntseki said.

The lanky striker will hope to be in action when Chiefs play their final pre-season match against Botswana Premier League outfit, Township Rollers before the start of 2023/24 PSL season.

The friendly match will take place on Saturday the 29th of July 2023 with kick-off being at 15:00 o'clock.
