Ahead of the 2023/24 football season, Jwaneng Galaxy Football Club head coach Morena Ramoreboli is adamant Molefi Ntseki’s coaching philosophy is a good fit for Kaizer Chiefs.

Ntseki was appointed as the new head coach of Amakhosi last month taking over from Arthur Zwane who was been demoted to the assistant coach's role.

Ramoreboli, who worked with Ntseki at African Warriors in the third tier division in 2008, says the new Chiefs coach is a hardworking and knowledgeable individual who is not afraid to put in the hard yards.

"Coach Ntseki likes to play a high-tempo game, high-intensity football, and obviously, looking at the signings the club has made now, I think Given Msimango will give him that option of starting from the back and being able to play those diagonal and vertical passes.

If you look at the intensity the new players Kaizer Chiefs have signed ahead of the new season, you can tell that it will give coach Molefi a chance to play the kind of game he wants," Ramoreboli said.

The current Bafana Bafana stand-in head coach also believes the Amakhosi faithful can expect to see a more attacking and dominant Kaizer Chiefs under the guidance of Ntseki.

The Glamour Boys have signed Mduduzi Mdantsane, Pule Mmodi, Edson Castillo, Ranga Chivaviro and Tebogo Potsane as their latest attacking forces to try and reclaim their glory days.

"There are reasons to be optimistic about Chiefs’ chances in the 2023/24 campaign because the club has made some good signings in the off-season, and they have a strong squad at their disposal.

They have Ranga whom they can use while getting something from the likes of Ashley Du Preez and Keagan Dolly," Ramoreboli added.

The upcoming season represents a new chapter in the club's history, a chance to redefine their identity and restore their place among the elite and while the road to redemption may be long and winding, the Kaizer Chiefs faithful will be there every step of the way, united in their undying belief that one day, their beloved club will rise again and reclaim its rightful place at the summit of South African football.
