Sekgota becomes the latest player to leave Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs have officially announced the departure of Kgaogelo Sekgota, who is set to join Stellenbosch FC.
Sekgota joined Chiefs from Swallows in 2021 and made 48 appearances for the club
Upon releasing the player, Chiefs released a statement thanking Sekgota for his contribution towards the success of Amakhosi in his tenure.
"Winger, Kgaogelo Sekgota has parted ways with Kaizer Chiefs after spending two years with the club, Sekgota arrived at Amakhosi from Swallows FC ahead of the 2021/22 season, and featured 48 times (14 starts + 34 subs) in the gold & black colours of the Glamour Boys.
His new Club will make an announcement in due course after finalising all the paperwork pertaining to his registration, we thank KG for all his efforts and wish him well for the rest of his footballing career," the statement read.
Meanwhile, Stellenbosch FC are yet to announce his arrival as he wasn’t at the club’s kit unveiling event.
